How to authorise Intellitax as your tax agent
Before we can file your tax return or deal with HMRC on your behalf, we need you to authorise us as your agent. It takes around 5 minutes and you only need to do it once.
Sign in to your HMRC account
Go to gov.uk/log-in-register-hmrc-online-services and sign in with your Government Gateway user ID and password.
Can't find your user ID? Search your email inbox for a message from HMRC — your 12-digit ID will be in there.
Select Business tax account
Once signed in, select Business tax account from the menu at the top of the page.
Select Manage account
Click Manage account from the menu bar.
Select All other tax services
Scroll down to the Manage tax agents section. Click All other tax services.
Select Authorise an agent
On the next page, under Agent details, click Authorise an agent.
Enter our agent code
Enter the code below exactly as shown and press Next.
Confirm and submit
Check our details are correct, tick the checkbox to confirm, and click Next. That's it — you're done.
